What ever happened to the Fort Snelling?
Commissioned January 1955 Decommissioned 1984 Sold for Scrap
Since 2005 is the 50th year of the commissioning of the USS Fort Snelling, perhaps we should have a reunion in the city for which she was named. We could contact the historical society, the mayor and plan a special time for the reunion, meet the people from the place for which she was named and have a great time. I know it's a bit late, but, we have till October to put it together. Please advise
