Hotel reservations are on your own, make sure to specify you are with USS LA
SALLE Reunion group for special rate of about $95 plus about 10% tax. This rate
good couple of days prior to couple days after reunion. There is much to see and
do in SA so you may want to stay fit longer. Info re SA can be obtained from AAA
Tour book or just look up San Antonio on web - plenty of info.
A reunion coordinator will be send, via e-mail or mail, a registration form
which will cover formal dinner cost/tour to Texas Hill Country and German town
of Fredericksburg (Admiral Nimitz Museum and hope to have stop at LBJ Ranch
(about 15 miles east of Fredericksburg). Plenty of shopping in Fredericksburg
plus a nice German Bier Garten.

Plan having hospitality room with plenty of snacks and finger food. If anyone
would like to help with purchasing snacks/finger food at one of the local
commissaries, would appreciate help. Probably need someone with commissary
privileges to help in trip to commissary, probably on WED 16th. Also what to
purchase suggestions would be helpful.
For those who have paid Association dues I will be sending out a reunion pin Paul Barer
had designed.
Some have indicated they would be interested in baseball caps w/La Salle logo -
please if interested in purchasing let me know soonest. The larger the order the
less the cost. Also there is avail a cowboy style hat, about $15, with logo,
very appropriate for Texas.
Heard All Hands magazine has dates as 1 - 18 JUN, will send correction for next
